Element 5: Statistical Task
Find or create an engaging task for individual or group work that aligns with the spirit of the GAISE K-12 Framework and the 6-12 Math GPS and Common Core Standards.
For my statistical task, I chose an activity I obtained from a dad, Bill Shaughnessy, and he obtained the task from Paul Meyers at an AP Statistics seminar at Woodward Academy in Atlanta, GA. The task uses the concept of linear regression to predict the score of a word in the board game Scrabble.
